Ceramic coating applied to an applicator

Know what goes into your protection.

Keeping a large motorhome looking good takes time. A suitable ceramic coating adds water-repellent protection to a properly prepared finish and can make routine cleaning easier. It is about helping you maintain the appearance you have invested in, as well as enjoying a well-presented vehicle.

01

Prepare

A better-looking finish starts underneath. Coating does not remove swirls, dullness or ingrained contamination. Cleaning, preparation and any required correction establish the finish you will see beneath the protection. We separate these stages in your estimate so you can understand why a weathered motorhome needs more work than an already well-kept camper.

  • A cleaner, better-prepared surface for application.
  • Improved colour clarity when correction is included.
  • A clear view of the work behind the finished result.
02

Protect

Make ongoing care more manageable. A suitable coating creates a water-repellent surface that can help dirt release more readily during washing. The practical benefit is easier maintenance of the treated finish. We specify the product and areas included; bodywork, trim and glass may need different treatments.

  • Water repellency to help routine washing.
  • Easier removal of winter road film during regular care.
  • UV protection where provided by the selected coating.
  • Added gloss and a finish that is easier to maintain.
03

Maintain

Keep the benefit after collection. A coated vehicle still needs washing and sensible care. We explain the product-specific curing and cleaning requirements so you know how to look after it. Durability depends on the selected treatment, exposure, use and maintenance; the relevant terms are discussed with your estimate.

  • A care plan for year-round use and winter conditions.
  • Clear advice on washing and the initial curing period.
  • Ongoing care to support the coating’s performance.

Cleaning, polishing or coating?

Choose the work around the condition of your vehicle, rather than a protection term alone.

Several concerns? Use our care guide to plan the order of work, or ask us about your vehicle.

Choose the protection term to discuss.

Interested in 1-, 3- or 5-year ceramic protection? Tell us your preference and we will recommend a suitable plan for your vehicle.

These are enquiry preferences, not a blanket guarantee. We confirm the exact product, suitable surfaces, supported durability and aftercare before quoting. Longer terms are offered only where the product and surface support them. Glass, wheels and tyres have separate treatments and are not included in these term choices.

The coating is one part of the job.

Vehicle size, condition and preparation affect the time involved. An already prepared compact camper and a weathered motorhome need different plans.

Your estimate sets out the agreed preparation, any correction work, selected coating and areas included. We confirm location suitability and curing requirements before booking.

Clear expectations.

Protection does not repair existing damage or make a vehicle scratch-proof. We explain product-specific care and any applicable product terms with your estimate.

UNDERSTAND THE WORK

From preparation to aftercare.

01

Assess and agree the protection plan

We discuss how the vehicle is used and stored, its current finish and your priorities. The plan identifies the exact surfaces to receive treatment and any correction needed beforehand. This helps you compare the complete work rather than the name of a coating alone.

02

Clean, prepare and apply

The agreed surfaces are cleaned and prepared for the chosen treatment; polishing is included where required and agreed. Application conditions and preparation follow the selected product’s requirements. Careful preparation matters because protection is being applied to the existing finish, not replacing or repairing it.

03

Allow for curing and handover

The coating needs suitable conditions and time to cure. We confirm the location, collection arrangements and any initial restrictions before booking. At handover, we explain when and how to wash the vehicle and what ongoing care the selected product needs.

Plan the right protection for your motorhome.

Tell us how you use and store your vehicle, its make/model and approximate length, and whether it already has a coating. A few photos help us discuss preparation and suitable protection before an estimate.
