CHRISTCHURCH WORKSHOP · BOURNEMOUTH, POOLE & DORSET
Motorhome bodywork repairs & campervan maintenance.
Cracked bumpers, damaged plastic trim, troublesome seals or smaller fixture faults? Our undercover Christchurch workshop assesses motorhome and campervan repairs for owners across Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset. Send your make, model, year and vehicle postcode so we can discuss the repair and whether a Christchurch workshop visit is suitable. Our three-photo enquiry guide shows which views help us assess the next step.
Start with a free phone conversation or photo review. Estimates depend on your vehicle and the work required; any chargeable inspection or test is explained before booking. How our estimates work →

What needs attention?
A scraped bumper, cracked trim or a growing list of small faults can take the enjoyment out of a van you otherwise love. Bringing those jobs together gives you a practical route back to a vehicle that looks better and is nicer to use, with priorities and costs agreed before the work starts.
Bumper repairs & plastic welding
Cracked plastic bumpers and trim can be assessed for plastic welding. The material and previous repairs affect the scope. We explain when repair is practical and when replacement or specialist work is needed. For new paint or refinishing after repair, see paintwork, resprays and RAPTOR painting.
Address damage that spoils the whole vehicle. A scrape or crack can draw the eye every time you walk up to the van. We assess the material, extent of damage and finishing needs to discuss a suitable repair or replacement. Where repair is practical, it offers a way to improve the affected area without assuming an entire component must be replaced.
- A tidier appearance around damaged areas.
- Repair considered before unnecessary replacement.
- Finishing planned alongside the repair.
Decal removal & replacement
Refresh tired or damaged graphics. Removal, design, supply and fitting are covered in our dedicated decal service. We can coordinate graphics with any agreed repairs, with the scope of each job clearly separated.
Roof areas & seals
Give concerns attention before cosmetic work. Loose or deteriorated seal areas and signs of water ingress deserve their own assessment. Cleaning, investigation and repair are different jobs. Explaining what you have noticed helps us plan the next step and identify any further investigation before finishing or protective treatments are considered.
- A defined next step for seal or water-ingress concerns.
- Suitable repairs can help limit further water entry.
- Underlying concerns considered before cosmetic work.
Fixtures & practical maintenance
Clear the small jobs that get in the way. A troublesome handle, loose cupboard fitting or faulty lock can become a daily irritation on a trip. Send us your list so we can check suitable repairs, parts and access together. Combining agreed jobs into one visit can make organising the work simpler. Habitation checks are also available; scope and estimate are confirmed before booking.
- Fewer irritating faults when using your van.
- Handles, locks and fittings assessed for practical repair.
- Several smaller jobs coordinated in one visit.
Photos start the conversation. Assessment defines the work.
Send a photo of the whole area and clear close-ups. Tell us the make/model and what happened, if known.
Photos may not reveal every issue. We explain what needs inspecting before confirming the scope and estimate.
Work in a sensible order
Repairing damage before detailing or protection can make the overall plan clearer. We can discuss several jobs together, with optional work identified separately.
If an inspection reveals additional work, we explain it and agree the next step before proceeding.
Workshop or mobile?
Our undercover Christchurch workshop is the starting point for more involved repairs. For mobile enquiries, tell us the postcode and the job so we can confirm suitability, availability and any travel charge.
Ask us about the specific maintenance work you need. This page does not describe an MOT, mechanical service or gas/habitation certification package.
UNDERSTAND THE WORK
A clear repair process, from photos to handover.
Understand the damage and priorities
Photos and a description start the conversation. An inspection may be needed to understand the material, hidden damage or parts required. We discuss what matters most to you, whether that is appearance, everyday use or preparing for a trip, and explain any assessment charge.
Agree the repair and finishing plan
The estimate sets out the areas, repair or replacement approach, preparation, parts and finishing included. For bodywork, the affected material and existing finish influence the method. Decal removal and other uncertain work are identified clearly so you understand what can be priced and what needs further assessment.
Complete the agreed work and review
Work follows the agreed scope. If investigation or dismantling reveals additional work, we explain the options and obtain agreement before proceeding. We review the completed items with you and explain any care requirements or outstanding recommendations, keeping optional improvements separate.
Send your repair list. Let’s plan the next step.
Tell us your make, model, year and approximate length, where the vehicle is, and what needs repairing. Send a wider photo and close-ups of each issue, plus details of any previous repair or water ingress you know about. We’ll explain what needs an inspection before confirming the scope and estimate.
Several repairs on your list? Use our photo and enquiry checklist so we can discuss the jobs together.
