Motorhome exterior being washed

Choose the care your vehicle needs.

A van can look clean from a distance and still feel tired up close: black streaks below fittings, road film on the body, grime around doors and exterior surfaces that have seen plenty of trips. A tailored detail tackles the areas that bother you, helping your camper feel cared for and ready to enjoy again.

Exterior care

Lift the grime that hides the finish. Road film, black streaks and build-up around exterior fittings can make the whole vehicle look neglected. Exterior detailing focuses on the agreed bodywork and accessible areas, using care suited to the surfaces. The aim is a cleaner, more consistent appearance without treating paint, decals, seals and acrylic as though they were the same material. Roof work, polishing and specialist contamination removal are scoped separately.

  • Cleaner panels and a more consistent appearance.
  • Less road film and seasonal grime on agreed areas.
  • A useful clean before winter storage or the next trip.

Restoration & protection

Give tired finishes the right next step. If the exterior still looks dull after cleaning, we can assess suitable paint correction, trim restoration or ceramic protection. Preparation, material and condition determine the work; specialist treatments are quoted separately.

  • Assessed polishing for suitable dull or marked finishes.
  • Restoration options for tired exterior trim.
  • Protection selected for prepared surfaces.

Seasonal exterior care

Prepare for storage or your next trip. After a busy touring season, we can plan exterior cleaning alongside separately assessed roof care, restoration and protection. One agreed scope helps you prioritise the work your vehicle needs.

  • Remove suitable road film and seasonal build-up.
  • Improve presentation before sale or handover.
  • Plan cleaning, restoration and protection together.

Cleaning, restoration and protection are different jobs.

A clean removes suitable dirt and contamination. A finish that stays dull after washing may benefit from assessed machine polishing and paint restoration. Cracks, deep damage and failing graphics need a bodywork or decal repair assessment. Ceramic coating and protection are separate treatments for suitably prepared surfaces, not a substitute for repair.

Interior cleaning is also available by arrangement as an add-on to your visit. Ask us for a separate estimate.

Before your visit

Tell us about delicate surfaces, existing damage and anything that concerns you. We will explain what belongings to remove, access arrangements and whether water or power is needed for a mobile visit.

UNDERSTAND THE WORK

What happens during a detail?

01

Walk through the priorities

We start with how you use the vehicle and what you want to improve. Its size, roof fittings, materials and condition shape the job. We agree the exterior areas, note existing damage and identify heavy soiling or specialist work before the estimate is confirmed.

02

Work through the clean

We start with a surface-appropriate pre-wash and rinse, followed by careful contact washing and drying of the agreed exterior areas. Paint, decals, seals and acrylic windows need different products and handling. Tar, fallout and other stubborn contamination are assessed before additional treatment. Roof detailing, machine polishing and ceramic coating are separate services and are included only when agreed in your estimate. The value is in the time, access and detail needed to reach a consistent result.

03

Review the finish and next steps

The final review looks at the agreed areas and highlights any staining, wear or damage that cleaning cannot resolve. We explain ongoing exterior care, and discuss optional polishing or protection if it would suit your goals. You can prioritise the next step rather than buy everything at once.

Tell us which areas need a proper clean.

Send your make/model, approximate length and postcode, plus photos of the exterior areas that concern you. Mention black streaks, roof build-up, faded finishes or damaged trim so we can assess the work and explain an estimate.

Unsure whether you need cleaning, polishing or protection? Compare the types of care, then see which photos and details to send.
